Your Doenara ring is built to last a lifetime, but a little care keeps it looking its best. Here is how to protect your piece and what to do when it needs attention.

Everyday Care

• Remove your ring before heavy lifting, gardening, gym workouts, swimming in chlorinated pools, and any activity that might knock the stone or bend the prongs.
• Apply lotions, perfumes, and sunscreen first, then put your ring on. Chemicals can dull the diamond’s sparkle and build up under the setting.
• Store your ring in its original Doenara box or a soft jewelry pouch, separate from other pieces to avoid scratches.

Cleaning at Home

A quick monthly clean brings any ring back to life:

1. Fill a small bowl with warm water and a few drops of mild dish soap
2. Let the ring soak for 10 to 15 minutes
3. Gently brush around the diamond and setting with a soft-bristled toothbrush
4. Rinse with clean warm water and pat dry with a lint-free cloth

Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, acetone, and abrasive cleaners. We do not recommend ultrasonic or steam cleaners on pavé or hidden halo settings.

Professional Cleaning

We offer complimentary professional cleaning and inspection on all Doenara rings. Send your ring back to the workshop once a year and we will return it looking new.

White Gold Over Time

14k white gold is rhodium plated for its bright white finish. After several years of wear, the plating may warm slightly — this is normal. We can re-rhodium plate your ring at the workshop so it looks fresh again.

Checking the Prongs

Run your ring across a soft cloth. If the cloth catches, a prong may need attention. Contact us immediately — loose prongs can lead to a lost stone if ignored.

Resizing

Your finger size can change with temperature, weight, and time. We offer one complimentary resize within 12 months of purchase (you cover insured return shipping). For later resizes, contact us and we will quote a workshop rate.
