Lab-Grown Diamonds
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. Same pure carbon, same 10 on the Mohs hardness scale, same brilliance and fire. The only difference is origin: ours are grown in a controlled lab environment rather than pulled from the earth.
What is IGI certification and why does it matter?
IGI (International Gemological Institute) is an independent, third-party lab that grades diamonds on the 4Cs: cut, color, clarity, and carat weight. Every Doenara diamond is IGI-certified, which means it has been graded by an outside authority rather than by us. You receive the certificate with your ring.
Why choose a lab-grown diamond over a mined diamond?
Lab-grown diamonds typically cost 30-50% less than comparable mined diamonds of the same grade. That saving goes straight into your ring — you can afford a larger stone, a higher color grade, or simply more value for your money. They are also traceable and conflict-free by nature.
What diamond shapes do you work with?
Our Prime Band Collection features radiant, marquise, and pear cuts. For custom orders we can source any shape — round brilliant, oval, cushion, princess, emerald, asscher, heart, and more. Tell us what you have in mind and we will find the stone.
What metals do you use?
14k solid gold only. That is 58.3% pure gold alloyed for strength and durability. Available in yellow gold and white gold. We do not work with vermeil, gold plating, gold filled, or anything less than solid. On request for custom orders we can also source 18k solid gold.
Orders, Shipping & Payment
How long does it take to receive my ring?
Every Doenara ring is made to order in our Los Angeles workshop. Production takes 2 to 4 weeks from the moment your order is confirmed. Once ready, your ring ships via insured FedEx and arrives within 2 to 7 business days in the United States.
Do you ship internationally?
For international orders, please contact us directly at contact@doenara.com or via WhatsApp before placing the order. We will confirm shipping availability, duties, and estimated timelines for your destination.
Is shipping insured?
Yes. Every Doenara order ships fully insured via FedEx at no additional cost to you. A signature is required at delivery for your protection.
How do I track my order?
Once your ring ships, you will receive an email with the FedEx tracking number. You can follow it from our workshop to your door.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal. Secure checkout is handled through Shopify.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Yes. At checkout you can split your purchase into interest-free installments through Shop Pay and our available financing partners. Options appear on the payment page.
Returns, Exchanges & Warranty
What is your return policy?
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. Items must be unworn, in original condition, and returned with all packaging and certificates. A 10% restocking fee applies to all returns. Custom and personalized pieces may not be eligible for return.
How do I start a return?
Email contact@doenara.com with your order number and reason for return. Our team will send you insured return shipping instructions. Once we receive and inspect the ring, your refund (less the 10% restocking fee) will be issued to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.
Can I exchange my ring?
Yes. If you would like a different size or a different ring from the Prime Band Collection, contact us within the 30-day window. Exchanges are subject to availability and any price difference.
Does Doenara offer a warranty?
Yes. Every Doenara ring is backed by our manufacturer warranty, which covers resizing, loose or shifted stones, bent prongs, and any manufacturer defect. Damage from normal wear, impact, or accidents is assessed case by case. Because we made the ring, we are the best people to repair it.
Can I get my ring resized?
Yes. The first resize within 12 months of purchase is complimentary (you cover insured return shipping). After that, resizing is offered at a workshop rate. Contact us first so we can confirm the target size and inspect the ring.
Custom Design
Can I design a fully custom ring?
Yes. Custom design is one of our favorite parts of the business. You choose the diamond shape, metal, setting style, and any detail you want — split shank, hidden halo, pavé, engraving. Our team will send CAD renders for approval before we cast anything.
How do I start a custom project?
Message us on WhatsApp at +1 (818) 749-2233 or email contact@doenara.com. Share any inspiration photos you have. We will respond within one business day with next steps, pricing, and a proposed timeline.
How long does a custom ring take?
Custom projects typically take 3 to 5 weeks from approved CAD to delivery. Very complex pieces may take longer — we will always give you a realistic timeline upfront.
Do I pay upfront for a custom ring?
A 50% deposit is required to begin production after the CAD is approved. The remaining balance is due before shipping. Deposits become non-refundable once we begin casting.
Can I modify a ring from the Prime Band Collection?
Absolutely. Every ring in the collection can be adapted — different metal, different diamond size, different setting height, added pavé or engraving. Tell us what you want to change and we will quote it.
Sizing & Care
How do I find my ring size?
The most accurate way is to visit a local jeweler and have your finger sized professionally. If that is not possible, email us and we will send you a free printable ring sizer. For custom and Prime Band Collection orders, we will always confirm your size with you before production begins.
How should I clean and care for my Doenara ring?
A soft toothbrush, warm water, and a drop of gentle dish soap will bring any ring back to life. Avoid harsh chemicals, chlorine, and ultrasonic cleaners on pavé settings. Remove your ring before heavy lifting, gardening, or gym workouts to protect the prongs.
Will white gold change color over time?
14k white gold is rhodium plated to achieve its bright white finish. Over several years the plating can wear and warm slightly. Re-rhodium plating is a simple workshop service — send the ring back to us and we will refresh it.
Should I insure my ring?
We strongly recommend insuring any fine jewelry. Most homeowners and renters policies offer a jewelry rider at low cost. We can provide an appraisal document on request to support your coverage.
